Business, Finance and Management Resume Examples

Accounting, finance, operations, project, people, sales and marketing resumes built around scope, accuracy and results.

How these resumes show scope

Business roles are judged on scale and accuracy, so each example sizes the job early: a $210 million division forecast, a $3.2 million sales territory, payroll for 46 employees, a 140-person plant or about $60,000 a month in ad spend. The bullets then show what changed, such as a month-end close cut from 10 to 6 days or on-time delivery raised from 88% to 97%. Use only figures you can explain, because interviewers often ask how a number was measured.

Credentials are worth featuring when you hold them. The accountant, HR manager and project manager examples add CPA, SHRM-CP and PMP after the name and list each again under Certifications with the issuer and date. If you are still preparing for an exam, give the expected date rather than implying you hold the credential.

Choosing a template for a business resume

The nine examples cover eight designs. Accountant, sales representative, digital marketing specialist, financial analyst and bookkeeper use single-column, ATS-friendly templates (ATS Classic, ATS Modern, ATS Compact and Minimal). HR manager uses Executive, a formal serif layout; operations manager uses Professional; marketing manager and project manager use Contemporary and Corporate, two-column designs with a sidebar.
