Using the site

CVCraftHub provides free tools and information to help you create resumes and cover letters. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial job search and career purposes, and in other lawful ways that do not interfere with the site or other users.

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it by automated means that place an unreasonable load on it, bypass its security features, or use it to create content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes the rights of others.

Your responsibility for your resume

You are responsible for everything you write in your resume and cover letter. Make sure it is accurate and truthful and that you have the right to use any photo or content you add. Our examples, suggestions and keyword comparisons are guidance only. Only include skills, qualifications and experience you actually have.

Before you send a resume, review the downloaded file carefully, including its formatting, spelling and contact details.

The resume tools and your data

The resume builder, cover letter builder, ATS Resume Checker and job description matcher run in your browser, and your work is saved in your browser on your device. We do not receive or store a copy. This means:

• You are responsible for keeping your own copies. Use Export Backup and download your files regularly.
• Your data may be lost if you clear your browser data, use a different browser or device, or if your browser removes stored data.
• We cannot recover lost resumes.

The ATS Resume Checker reports resume completeness based on simple, transparent rules, and the job description matcher compares words and phrases. Neither tool predicts how an employer or applicant tracking system will evaluate your application.

Third-party services

The site uses third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and links to other websites. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them or for the content of linked sites. See the privacy policy for details.

No employment guarantee

CVCraftHub does not guarantee that using the site will result in interviews, job offers, employment, recruiter responses or acceptance by any applicant tracking system. Hiring decisions are made by employers. See the disclaimer.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, templates, text, graphics and code are owned by CVCraftHub or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the templates to create and distribute your own resumes and cover letters. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the templates, guides or examples as your own product or service.

You keep all rights to the content you write. Because it stays in your browser, we do not receive a license to it.

Service availability

The site is provided free of charge on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We do not promise that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors, or that it will work with every browser or device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVCraftHub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, opportunities or income, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
